Senior HRIS Analyst

About the Job

The Senior Analyst, People Systems is responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of people systems. This is a lead role within the People Systems and Analytics Team that supports business processes and continuity by ensuring system compliance, efficiency and functionality. The incumbent acts as a subject matter expert on whom stakeholders can rely for input and guidance to resolve system and process challenges. Senior Analyst, People Systems oversees projects with minimal guidance, utilizes system knowledge and analysis in taking calculated risks and collaborates effectively for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Oracle HCM Cloud applications including Oracle Cloud Recruit, Core HR, Benefits Administration, Workforce Compensation, and Talent Management

• Provide production support as an escalation point including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system or integration issues, unexpected results, and process flaws; and, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

• Manage and coordinate system updates and upgrades including functionality, design review, and end to end user testing in partnership with our Implementation Service Providers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Payroll, Finance, and Technology to resolve issues, streamline data flow, and develop comprehensive solutions relating to people processes, reporting, and compensation

• Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, design and recommend HR technology solutions

• Translate requirements for the development and delivery of custom reports, integrations, data conversions, and extensions

• Perform functional setup and configuration changes for the deployment of new technology features and functionality

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of applications prior to deployment.

• Build basic operational reports and analysis

• Coordinate and provide post-implementation support, documentation and training to department administrators and other HR system users

• Other duties pertinent to people systems, as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years in an HRIS role with in-depth experience of maintaining, enhancing and troubleshooting various HR systems

• Proficiency with Oracle HCM applications; Core HR, Benefits Administration, Workforce Compensation, Talent Management

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Human Capital Management processes including Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, and Payroll

• Working knowledge of MS Project and Visio

• Experience:

·   designing and/or administering complex data integrations, extracts, and conversions, including with payroll systems or 3rd party benefit providers

·   working with Cornerstone and/or other Learning Management Systems

·   working in multi-state and global organizations

• History of successful collaborative teamwork and individual work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid problem-solving skillset with “make it happen/can do” response to problems

• Demonstrated relationship management skills and effective leadership in an HRIS function

• Passion for HR technology and data

• Ability to:

·   perform careful, detail-oriented work under deadline pressure

·   manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment

·   maintain confidentiality is it pertains to employee data and to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and utmost accuracy
