Senior Manager, Data Analytics

About the Job

The Sr Mgr, Data Analytics partners with the Commercial and Biopharma stakeholders to generate actionable insights in support of strategy development, tactical planning, and execution, as well as development of tools to measure performance against these objectives. This role presents an exciting opportunity to synthesize creativity and critical thinking to help the company organize, analyze, and visualize information with the goal of producing strong impact on the organizational performance. This includes the ability to understand the challenges and limitations of the data and thinking of innovative solutions to be delivered using internal and external data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply deep expertise in dashboard design and visual storytelling to create and continuously improve best-in-class dashboards that provide superior web and mobile user experience.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to reframe business objectives as data stories to help the organization see beyond raw data and to understand how to improve FMI’s processes, customer journeys, and patient outcomes.
  • Proactively seek to understand business needs, priorities, and scope of work and continuously work with the Product Owner to refine and enhance our data analytics capabilities.
  • Analyze and connect large volumes of internal and external data to extract meaningful insights and identify trends in customer behavior, order volumes, operational and financial information.
  • Create and present high quality incisive analytics content to all levels of business leaders and executive audiences during QBRs and other key presentations.
  • Design easy to use analytical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders to standardize operational, financial, and sales KPIs creating a source of truth and helping to drive self-service BI.
  • Lead stakeholder engagements to evangelize the value of data and analytics solutions and actively build new relationships identifying opportunities to improve the business.
  • Continuously study trends in analytics and data science and data visualization domains to ensure we always leverage best-in-class tools and techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Operations Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • • 5+ years of experience in the domains of visual design, user experience, web design, or data storytelling with a strong emphasis on numerical fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence software with demonstrated ability to design end-to-end user experience and information flow
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and/or cloud analytics environment such as Azure Synapse is preferred
  • Readily available portfolio of products and solutions that showcase the exceptional data analysis and visualization skills
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to distill complex ideas for high-level and executive audiences
  • Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient data
