About the Job
The Senior Manager, Materials Management role within the Global Supply Chain Organization is responsible for leading the Materials Management network across three US sites and support of the Supply Chain function at Penzberg, Germany. The leader in this role coaches and develops site materials management leaders and teams to ensure process harmonization and execution excellence. The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is also responsible for directly building and leading the Materials Management Team at the San Diego Lab Operations facility in La Jolla, CA. The San Diego facility is in the start-up phase and the Senior Manager plays a key role in building the site materials flow and space management processes. This role also serves as the Supply Chain representative on the San Diego Site Leadership Team.
This role partners closely across the Supply Chain function to ensure adherence to regulated workflows and accuracy of inventory transactions. This position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds and involves regularly working within a laboratory environment in the presence of chemicals and reagents.
