Our Employee Resource Networks

Our networks below are employee-led groups that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace aligned with our mission, values, goals, business practices, and objectives. Our networks are sponsored by senior leaders  and our goal is to create initiatives that will have long-lasting impacts at work, as well as in our communities.


UPLIFT is our network to support females, and those who identify as female.

MISSION:  To motivate and galvanize women to lead and excel personally and professionally.

This network was officially launched in 2019 with an all-day Summit to discuss women’s professional and personal development, diversity, and leadership. While attending the summit, our Chief Scientific Officer Priti Hegde discussed the importance of mentorship and the power of having a diversified team.


PROUD is our network to support our LGBTQ+ employees and allies.

MISSION: To motivate and inspire FMI employees to lead, excel, and grow, personally and professionally, by providing a forum for education and greater awareness.


BAHA is our network to celebrate and support Black, African and Hispanic employees.

MISSION:  BAHA will work to further the mission and ambition of FMI, represent the interests of celebrating & advocating for Black, African, & Hispanic communities and support FMI’s overall diversity and inclusion goals.

Sustain is our network of employees who are passionate about sustainability and working towards making Foundation Medicine a leading sustainable business. 

MISSION: To cultivate thriving and sustainable communities and environments.


INDUS (INclusivity, Diversity, & Unity of South Asian Communities) aims to create a strong community by providing a platform for education, celebration and awareness of the unique and diverse cultures within the South Asian diaspora.

FMI Vets is our Veteran's Service Employee Resource Network, supporting Veterans and Veteran advocates.

MISSION: To advance FMI’s commitment to Passion, Patients, Innovation, and Collaboration by building common bonds and identity across a diverse workforce. As Veterans and Veteran advocates, we appreciate the impact that shared values and service orientation have on an organization and the outcomes it wishes to achieve.
