Program Specialist, Commercial Data Integrations

About the Job

The Program Specialist, Commercial Data Integrations is an important team member of the Commercial Programs team working with Customer Success and EMR Implementation managers to ensure a smooth customer onboarding and experience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive utilization and integration of Electronic Medical Record ordering of Foundation Medicine’s suite of assays.
  • Work with Customer Success Program managers or Implementations Program managers to shepherd clients through enhancement updates, ensuring they align with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and support staff, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing regular project updates.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training sessions for hospital staff on new EMR features and updates.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, fostering strong relationships.
  • Evaluate and improve existing project management processes for increased efficiency.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Healthcare IT experience – Customer Support, Project Management, Account Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with major healthcare EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, OncoEMR, etc  
  • Familiarity with lab and radiology workflows including compendium management  
  • Knowledge of process optimization preferred.  
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
